Another Brazilian! Well there's an awful lot of coffee in Brazil. Unfortunately a lot of it is not very good. But this is another gem that must be tried. From the Fazenda da Lagoa coffee plantation situated in the north-eastern part of the famous coffee growing region of Minas Gerais, only a few hundred kilometres away from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, at an altitude of around 1,100 meters above sea level. This slightly nutty, low acidity, medium body, earthy cup is a nice drink in the filter/French press but where it really excels is as espresso! Here it comes alive, also great in a blend.
