This farm is one of the best known organic farms in Brazil, And swapped to organic production in 1999 under the ownership of Henrique Sloper Araujo. They are also working towards there Bio Dynamic certification (which is like the next step on from organic).
I have been lucky enough to meet Henrique a couple of times now and you can see why he may not run his faem "the normal way". He is incredibly charismatic and what to push the envelope wherever he can (and does). Take a look at this presentation he has done right out there
In the cup its nuttiness cuts through its hints of spice. It is in its aftertaste and mouthfeel where this coffee becomes special, with its lingering dark chocolate and thick gluppy consistency.
