This farm is one of the best known organic farms in Brazil, And swapped to organic production in 1999 under the ownership of Henrique Sloper Araujo. They are also working towards there Bio Dynamic certification (which share many things with organic but takes some of the procedures to the next level).
I have been lucky enough to meet Henrique a couple of times now and you can see why he may not run his farm "the normal way". He is incredibly charismatic and what to push the envelope wherever he can (and does). Take a look at this presentation he has done right out there
This year we have four different varietals from the farm. This gives you a chance to taste the different varieties, and make your own mind up what you like. We also have a pack where you can try them all in smaller amounts.
Icatu precoce
Yellow variety. Low acidity, medium to full body, sweet dark chocolate taste with a hint of citric aroma.
