Description:
From Cerrado region in the state of Minas Gerais, the Daterra farm is huge and owned by Luis Norberto Pascoal. Made up of a large number of small farms it has its own weather systems that produce unique coffee's. These are then sorted and divided by coffee variety, all for on aim, to produce the perfect espresso. They spend time and effort producing good quality coffee by looking after the plantations the plant, the environment, nursery selection, cultivation, irrigation and there workers so this goal can be achieved. This blended coffee is the final product of over 30 years work, watched constantly by scientists who measure soil acidity, rainfall and anything else that can be measured. This isn't all the measure, they cup and consistently check quality. But not only checked at the cupping table but in the espresso cup. This arrived Jan 2006 and is the latest crop.

This is a real espresso blender, with earthy tones with a slight hint of dark chocoolate and realy syrup like thickness.
