Description:
We had a similar Colombian Swiss water decaf around 12-18 months ago, and I must receive an email a week asking when it is coming back. The problem with decafs is that the process itself has to be done in batches, huge batches, so we are at the whim of the importers and what they can bring to the cupping table at any given time. So when we found this one we snapped it up.
The sign of a good decaf should is that the process it has been through is not too obvious. This is good quality Colombian delicately treated. It's mild, smooth, has rich mouthfeel. It is great in espresso and filter.
In the cup expect sweet chocolate, caramel smoothness, with a lovely nutty back end. Very good decaf.
