This 100% bourbon, washed and naturally fermented sun dried El Salvador is awesome, its that simple. I love El Salvador coffee very much, its abundant with great single estate fine coffee. It seems everything that hits the cupping table from our favoured importers is just fantastic. I was lucky enough to visit the mill and the two farms this coffee comes from on my recent trip to El Salvador, and met owner Eduardo Alvarez. the reason there are two farms in this coffee (La Reforma and El Cerro) is Eduardo sorts the finest from both farms to make this a special cup but also maintain consistency in the cup and the farms are very close together on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano. In the cup you get this sweet toffee that develops into a sweet milk chocolate after tastes that lingers and lingers. Very muted acidity, that means this works so well as a single origin espresso, as long as you like them sweet.
