Grown in Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, this was one of the coops we visited on our trip last year, and it was a real shame we couldn't add another Guatemala to our range as we have so many already.
I loved the cup and I loved the place and people. But when we found out our importer had decaffeinated it then it's a great reason to stock it.
Grown by a coop of small growers around the lake in the cup expect winey fruity bursts with black fruit (cherry and berry) notes. CO2 decaf I really like and think leaves the original bean in its best state. Having cupped this one decafed and not I can tell you that sure it's a little different but not enough to notice obviously and remains a great coffee.
