Fedecocagua means Federation of Cooperatives of coffee from Guatemala, was founded in 1969 by 19 cooperatives with the goal of improve the life standards of the small farmers with their own efforts in a jointly liable way. This coffee came as a surprise to me if I'm honest. Its not our usual supplier and when I called for the sample it was more hope than expectation. But as all samples we cup them blind and judge them on there merits not there bag marking. On the table it shone and was as good as the other Guatemalans we have come to love at Has Bean. In the cup I found smooth balanced milk chocolate tones with a hint of vanilla in the after-taste.
