The vast majority of Kenyan coffee is sold through the governmentrun Nairobi coffee auction. It is often difficult to get hold of additional information about specific lots, but at has bean we don't worry about such things when a coffee tastes this good on the cupping table.
So what do we know? This coffee consists of the varietals SL28 and SL34. It is from the central province of Nyeri, and we believe from a cooperative. It's fully washed and incredibly delicious.
Yet another left turn in our Kenyan offering, in the cup expect lots of blackcurrant, delightfully refreshing acidity, creamy mouthfeel on the aftertaste, and super clean finish. A typical blackcurrent based kenyan we have missed from the range for a while. For my taste this one is not for espresso.
