Hello and welcome to edition two of the Has Bean newsletter. If

1. New Additions
Another busy month has meant that we have there has been a large
turnover of
beans which in turn means we have lots of new additions. We have
some old
brown java, Kalosi and a new Columbia.
Colombian La Cacia “Relationship coffee”Special Grade

Description: We get a lot of mail asking for a fairtrade coffee.
Although we
have strong beliefs in fairly traded coffee, for a number of reasons
we don’
t like the way the fair trade organisation operates. So here we
have a
compromise. Relationship coffee is your guarantee that the farmer
of the
coffee got a fair price for a quality product. This Columbian is
one of the
finest examples of Columbian at its best, a great all day drink
that never
fails to impress. A must try. Medium Dark Roast.

Description: A very unusual matured bean, aged naturally to enhance

properties. A dark roast develops a strong rich and intense style,

Celebes Toraja Kalosi (ref 308)
Description: Well we had to cave in eventually, I lost count how
many mails
we received asking for this to be added again. For those of you
who were
here at the start of Has Bean, you’ll be pleased to know its
as good as it
was last time. It’s got a kick that others beans lack. Prepare
for the
caffeine kick in this deep rich syrupy and full of body cup. Don’t
be
surprised if you taste this in the espresso blend because it really
adds

2. Stocks Running Low
We have lost the Columbian Supremo Single Estate "La Manuela”
which is a
real shame. But the new Columbian is a real treat and a more than
suitable
replacement for it. Java Blawan stocks are really low too but were
hoping to
sort that out real soon.
3. New Section
At Has Bean we like to encourage you to buy small amounts of beans
as and
when you need them. But when it comes to green beans its good to
buy a stock
and that’s to be promoted. So now when you buy green in bulk
