Hello and welcome to edition seven of the Has Bean newsletter. If you missed any of the earlier ones they can be found at www.hasbean.co.uk/news.htm

1. New Additions

It continues and continues. Here at Has Bean we are proud to offer so many different beans, and month on month new coffee adventures for you to try. This month is no exception with these wonderful offerings.

Mexican SHG ep Topacio (ref 204), Cost: £3.00 per 250g bag

Mexican beans can be bland and often poorly looked after at the farm and processing stage. Well we found an exception to that rule with is great offering. This bean has plenty of bite, but without the bitterness than can be associated with that. Darker roasting this bean brings out the real depth and syrup like tones. At home any where, filter, espresso, press pot, vac pot but particularly your home! Medium Roast

Indian Plantation A Elephant Country (ref 308), Cost: £3.00 per 250g bag

This great bright coffee is very similar to Ethiopian Harrar, in its burst of fruit and wine tones. Great in espresso, but really at home in the filter/French press. Another must try. Medium Dark Roast

Australian Skyberry (ref 309), Cost: £4.95 per 250g bag

A big favourite is back. This wonderfully unique coffee from the strangest of origins is a real pleasure, to roast and drink. A top grade bean of extra Fancy means your getting the best this plantation can offer. In many ways Skyberry is similar to Jamaican Blue Mountain, but without a premium price. Smooth, balanced with rich flavour, and a full body.

2. Stocks Running Low

Unfortunately we have had to wave goodbye to the Panama LTE. A big personal favourite, but wasn t as popular with you the customer. So we have now stocked the Mexican as describes above which is a great alternative. All other stocks are ok for the moment.

3. New at Has Bean

We have undergone a major new redesign. Our old look had been in place for over 18 month now and was looking tired. Our new look takes away the clutter and hopefully help you get around that little bit easier. As always your feedback would be gratefully received. We have also added a new search feature that should make finding your bean choice easier.

We have had some problems recently with the 2kg bags of green unroasted beans splitting in transit. If you are one of the affected people please accept our apologies. As part of our ongoing improvements we have changed the packaging of these beans so hopefully this should never happen in the future, we are listening.

4. Tea Tea and Tea

We are proud to announce our sister site www.mrtea.co.uk . With a full range of tea bags and loose leaf teas, and tea equipment. As with Has Bean you can be assured of top quality service and products. Why not take a visit today www.mrtea.co.uk

Once again thanks for all of your feedback, emails telephone calls and in some cases visits. It you the customer that makes Has Bean so much fun, so please drop us an email and tell us what you think of our site!
