1. New Additions
Have we got a new addition. After many months of negotiations,
we have
secured a deal to distribute on of the most exiting Home roasting
machines in the market today. And we have managed to secure a deal
where we can offer it to you at a fantastic price with £50
of the list price see below
The Hottop Home Roasting Machine (ref 704)
Has Bean is pleased to offer the Hottop Home Coffee Roaster. This
machine is at the top of its class. It has proved enormously popular
in the USA
over the last year and it is now available in Europe from Has Bean
the
European distributor. The Hottop is computer controlled and unlike
similar
machines it roasts to a "profile" like a commercial coffee
roaster. It also has
a massive capacity of 250g of green coffee. It's one of the most
expensive coffee roasters available for the domestic market, but
that's mainly
because it's the best. It's a robust, well engineered machine producing
a very
high quality result. The Hottop has seven programmable roast levels,
from a
light roast to really dark. However the operator is always in full
control
and as you learn more about coffee roasting you can over-ride the
programming
and decide for yourself when a roast should be complete, based on
how you
like your coffee. The Hottop is now available from stock, buy one
today! RRP
of this fine machine is £499.99, for a limited period buy
it for £449.99

But we couldn’t stop there. Every month we seem to find yet
another gem, and
this one fell into our lap. A great coffee that has got to be tried.
Costa Rican Coop Naranjo El Roble Quality Certified(ref 213), Cost:
£2.95 per 250g bag
This certified coffee from Costa Rica manages to contain all the
best bits of the regions coffee. The certification is complicated
to explain all the things it has to reach to obtain it, but let’s
just say the farmer has a lot of hoops to jump through. It’s
a tricky one to roast, but well worth the effort. For our troubles
you will get a rich body, with real fruit bursting through and hints
of tangerine. Here you’re getting a premium coffee for a non
premium price. Medium roast

How lucky can we be, at every turn there’s another great coffee.
Papua New Guinea Kinjibi Plantation A (ref 310), Cost: £2.95
per 250g
bag
Papua New Guinea is a very distinct coffee among other Indonesian
coffees. There natural delicate tastes and completely different
to others from
that area. This coffee is very well suited to the French press/cafetière.
It’s also very adaptable to be at home in the espresso machine
either as
origin or as a blend. Another great addition and a must have addition
to our
range.
2. Stocks Running Low
We have had to say goodbye to the Brazil terazina. A great coffee
that we

A good friend of mine from www.toomuchcoffee.co.uk
asked me if I would
write an article on Espresso blending go read my rantings there
at
www.hasbean.co.uk/offer/too.htm
6. Coffee News
Our friend Ian Boughton has been writing his trade coffee newsletter.
He even came a did an interview on yours truly and took a horrid
picture
at a time I hadn’t had enough caffeine. It’s an enjoyable
read for people in
the trade or not as the case may be. Take a look at http://www.coffee-house.org.uk/
As always thanks for your continued support.
