Hello and welcome to edition Nine of the Has Bean
newsletter. If you missed any of the earlier ones they can be found
at www.hasbean.co.uk/news.htm
1. New Additions
Not to be out done last month we have yet another
bean to add to the catalogue. For the knowledgeable coffee drinker
out there you will know that Columbian coffee's greatest asset is
its regularity and familiarity. It never offends any one but rarely
blows your sock off! Well we have found the antidote to that in
Colombian Supremo Single Estate "La Manuela" Colombian
Supremo Single Estate "La Manuela" (ref 205),Cost: £3.95 per 250g
bag
A great all day drink that is reassuringly good.
A great starting point for those new to the world of gourmet coffee,
or a great place to revisit if you've not been back to this one
for a while. This costs more than the normal Colombia Medellin Excelso
which it is replacing but you wont notice as I have swallowed up
the price increase. So your getting a better bean for no more money
aren't we generous. Medium Dark Roast http://www.hasbean.co.uk/offers/col.htm
2. Stocks Running Low Columbian Fair Trade Its with
great sadness I roasted the last of the Fair Trade last Week. I
have had to remove it from the catalogue for a while. I'm searching
for a replacement, but so far drawing blanks. I do hope to have
some more in by the time of the next newsletter. Colombia Medellin
Excelso With the new Columbian in stock I didn't feel I could hold
on to two types from this region. So unfortunately I have had to
remove it. Lets not say forever just for a while.
3. While I Browsed The search for funny coffee stuff
goes on. I found this Dilbert strip that made me laugh at http://www.dilbert.com/comics/dilbert/archive/images/dilbert2003304890619.gif
Continuing the funny serious partnership I came
across this article that you may find interesting. Its strange to
think that there is so much behind the lovely cup of coffee we drink
for breakfast. http://www.teaandcoffee.net/0603/special.htm
Thanks to you all for your continued support
