Description:
This single-origin estate coffee is brought to you direct from two farms in Bahia, Brazil:

    * Fazenda Floresta
    * Fazenda Aranquan

This is a Direct Trade partnership project to bring this coffee straight to the UK consumer. We are working together with the farms and Cafe Ita (owned by the farmers) to roast the coffee for the project. This not only gives us an opportunity to sell direct to the consumer here, it also offers you, the Has Bean coffee people, a chance to try this special coffee.

These farms have been Demeter certified for over 7 years and specialise in the production of high quality coffee through Bio Dynamic methods. It is a good partnership with us being the first Bio Dynamic certified roaster in the UK (UK 6 Certified by Demeter). As you know by now though, certification alone is never enough for us here at Has Bean. Good intentions are only worthwhile if backed up by quality in the cup, and this coffee has that in spade-fulls.

In the cup expect sweet chocolate, with a smooth body and smooth after taste. A little hint of walnut with a lovely long finish.

Roast Information:
Best medium to medium dark depending on the brew method used; medium dark for espresso, medium for filter. When we sell this as roasted it's just taken into 2nd crack then stopped.
