| Description: |
This blend was months in the making. It showed so much promise but for me never quite had that wow factor. No matter what I tried it just didn’t quite work. Sadly, I used to dream about scoring winning goals for England in the world cup, I now dream of coffee blends. One day, the missing ingredient came to me and wow it really works. Deep, dark and very very rich. It's smoothness is a delight, the silkiness is to savour. This is a celebration of many espresso cuppings to find a perfect blend.
In the blend there is a big Indonesian influence and it's amazingly simple with Kalosi and Sumatra, giving it big deep tones, very rich crema, and spicy richness. This is not a delicate flower at all; it's a big brute that will punch your taste buds, but if that's your thing, then this is your coffee. Slight changes from past toba blends with 60% Kalosi and 40% Sumatra (this used to be 50/50). It makes a big difference to the punch of this coffee - it's amazing what 10% can do!
Add this coffee to milk for a latte or cappuccino and "WOW!" |
