Description:
The Rwanda cup of gold is the pre cursor competition to the cup of excellence program.Its a trial run for a country to check out the logistics and how to conduct a coffee competition. So at long last next year the Cup of Excellence will be held outside of Central/South America and break into Africa.

Some points to make, its NOT the cup of excellence and its not the same at all. But what its does do is find some fine coffee micro (and we mean micro) lots and we are very excited to have these two lots. The other point is these are VERY rare coffees and a must try.

Ucar is a 2 bag lot (thats it no more) so it wont hang around for long. From the vilage of Remera in the district of Kamonyi, in total all year the whole village produces just 405 bags in a growing area of 75 hectares. Grown at an altitude of 1300m.

This red bourbon in the cup is incredibly Floral with sweet honey and fruit berry and blackcurrant with a sweet chocolate and creamy aftertaste.
