February 2014 - Bold Street: Siempre Espresso Blend

This is the second in a line of coffee shop guest coffee blends that we're super excited to be sharing with you throughout 2014. Each month there will be a new blend from one of our amazing customers.

This month we're sampling the wonders of Siempre from Bold Street,which is based (funnily enough) on Bold Street in Liverpool.

It was founded by Sam Tawil who has a passion for all things coffee. Sam is a perfectionist and strives for quality in everything that he does. Sam and his team are dedicated to bringing the people of Liverpool a truly unique coffee experience.

They opened in May 2010 and have grown steadily since. Excellent customer service underpins everything they do and their aim is to continually improve and to set the bar higher.

In September 2011 they were awarded the title of "Liverpool's Favourite Independent Coffee Shop" at the Liverpool Food & Drink Awards, a fantastic award as it was voted for by the public: proof that they're making their customers happy! What could make that even better? They only went and won it in 2012 and 2013 too, hat-trick!

Their blend is a 60/40 mix of 2 amazing coffees...

60% Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama Canario Pulped Natural
40% Ethiopia Kebel Kercha Guji Natural

In the cup this is a super sweet chocolate delight, which takes a turn down funky street. Expect milk chocolate with blueberry muffins all mixed in: a delicious espresso that really cuts through milk.
