As time moves on and the seasons change, coffees come and go – so we need to update our blends. We always do our best to create our blends with coffees that we know aren't going to run out super soon, and always aim for at least 4 months of each blend being the same, but obviously all good things eventually have to come to an end.

While the name and components may change, the flavour profile lives on. The ‘Black’ profile celebrates a heavier, natural process-led espresso. Think dried fruit, dark chocolate and a rich mouthfeel.

Black Hole replaced Blake, and then Eclipse replaced Black Hole, and then Black Tower replaced Eclipse. Now we say hello to Black Beauty. It's the same delicious profile, just with a different name to show off the different component coffees. For those of you who remember the slight older days, this coffee also replaces Breakfast Bomb.

In the cup this is a Dundee Cake! There's the dried fruit and brown sugar of fruit cake, but also that subtle nutty almond edge. It's got a shoulder of chocolate on the aftertaste too, but first and foremost it's liquid cake!


Heavy body, dried fruit and dark chocolate, low acidity, strong base.

Roasting Information
Dark - slow and steady, dropping at about 5 seconds into the start of second crack.
