Here at Hasbean, we're big BIG fans of filter coffee. There's always plenty of filter being enjoyed at our roastery. It's an absolute necessity to keep Team Hasbean zooming around all day long. (Except for Al, that is ... Al will have a tea if you're offering, ta!)
We've taken some of our favourite single origin coffees and crafted a blend that we think delivers a fantastically tasty cup of filter coffee. 🙂 It's perfect for lazy mornings, busy afternoons, and just about everything in between.
Our range of coffees continually evolves as the seasons change, and throughout the year different coffees come and go. We update our blends as this happens to reflect that seasonality. The coffees in this season’s Phil-ter are:
70% Costa Rica Finca Licho Yellow Honey Villa Sarchi
30% Kenya Kiriga Estate AB
Tasting notes: White sugar, honeycomb, blackcurrants

Roast Information Medium – keep this roast fairly quick to get the sweet acidity, finishing at the end of the gap before you reach second, to showcase that sweetness even more.
Resting Recommendation We recommend a 5–7 day rest after the date of roasting before brewing this coffee as espresso, but there's a lot of personal preference in that. So, by all means, please brew whenever you like!
