The study of brewing introduces you to the different ways of brewing filter/brewed coffee, from Chemex and siphon to Clever Dripper and French press. In addition, this module allows you to get hands-on and learn to analyse your grind profile, match your grind to your brewing method and to scientifically measure coffee strength and chart a coffee’s extraction.

No prior knowledge is needed before taking this module.

Certification fee is included in the £125.00 cost of the course.

All training will take place at our roastery just outside Stafford, the course will run from 0930 - 1700 with a lunch break. Lunch will be provided during a 30 minute break and light refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Training is conducted by Sonali Tailor, AST, our field trainer and an authorised UK judge. Sonali has managed a number of coffee bar operations and developed coffee programs for leading UK retailers throughout her career as well as representing her coffee skills on the Cup Taster and Coffee Master stages.
