Yule Blend

It's the most wonderful time of the year! And for the seventeenth year in a row, we're celebrating the festive season the only way we know how - with tasty coffee!

For 2023 we've decided to do things slightly differently to last year and instead of offering two different festive blends, we've created one blend and are also offering a delicious single-origin coffee we feel really celebrates Christmas in a deliciously caffeinated way.

Our team got together and had a festive brainstorming session thinking about our favourite Christmas flavours, the tasty treats we'll be looking forward to, and how we could tie those into a celebratory coffee. Turns out we're a bunch of chocoholics as the thought of drinking a caffeinated liquid yule log was just too good of an idea to ignore!

Our 2023 Yule Blend is here to deliver all the fudgey, gooey, sweet chocolate notes you could ever want in a festive coffee - it's going to be super easy drinking and a coffee you can come back to for mug after mug when the weather's a bit dark and miserable, like a liquid hug in a mug. In previous years we've allocated an amount per bag of our Christmas blends to charity but this year we're doing things a little differently. Instead of linking our festive charity donation exclusively to sales of our Christmas coffees, we're offering you the option to donate with every order of any item. A pop-up window will appear during the checkout process and you'll be offered the chance to donate.

Yule blend is made up of...

• 40% Nicaragua Finca La Escondida Washed Catuai
• 40% El Salvador Finca Argentina Washed Bourbon
• 20% Guatemala Finca El Bosque Washed Bourbon

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. Like a festive yule log, we've heaped fudgy chocolate fondant over creamy chocolate filling and topped it off with more milk chocolate.

Resting Recommendation
We recommend a 5-7 day rest after the date of roasting before brewing this coffee, but there's a lot of personal preference in that so, by all means, please brew whenever you like!

Roasting Information
Medium dark - take it low and slow, extending your development to bring out the full chocolate notes, finishing the roast with the first pops of second as it cools.

This festive season, Hasbean is supporting The Felix Project. The Felix Project is a charitable organisation based in London, dedicated to reducing food waste and alleviating food poverty. Founded in 2016, The Felix Project collaborates with food suppliers, supermarkets, and wholesalers to rescue surplus, high-quality food that would otherwise go to waste. They distribute this food to various charities, schools, and community organisations, ensuring that it reaches those in need. The organisation's mission not only addresses food insecurity but also has a positive environmental impact by minimising food waste. In 2021, they provided food for 30,000,000 meals, and their operation is growing rapidly. They play a vital role in fighting hunger and reducing food waste in London and the surrounding areas, exemplifying the power of community-driven initiatives in tackling social and environmental challenges. We will be supporting them this season through an optional charitable donation at checkout

If you place an order before 07:30, it will be roasted and dispatched that day. If you order after 07:30, it will carry over to the following working day for roasting.

We offer free UK mainland delivery on all orders over £50.00. One 250g bag sent with First Class postage will cost £3.50, and one 250g bag sent with Second Class postage will cost £2.00. DPD next working day delivery is available for a flat rate of £6.00 for all orders up to 10kg.
