Shipping

Below is a list of all the shipping methods we offer for both domestic UK deliveries and worldwide international deliveries.

Please note we roast to order so can not always dispatch orders on the day of order, for more information on when we roast click here.  If you require urgent delivery please contact us at orders@hasbean.co.uk before ordering.

Items ordered for next day delivery with either Royal Mail or DPD AFTER 0700hrs GMT may not be processed until the following working day, we always do our best to process any orders placed up until 1300hrs GMT however unfortunately this is not always possible.  If you have any questions about our processing times please contact us at orders@hasbean.co.uk before ordering.

Our website calculates shipping charges based on the items you're ordering and your delivery address, it will offer you the best available rates once it knows this information.  The easiest way to work out shipping costs is to go through the website ordering process as if you were going to order the items you would like, then on the final page of the checkout process (before having to pay) you'll be given a list of available shipping options.

Why are we asking you for a telephone number?
It is for the delivery company to contact you in case of any difficulties they have with your delivery, if you do not provide us with a telephone number and there are any issues with the delivery of your order the delivery company will not be able to contact you. If you are having your order shipped via DPD and you provide us with your mobile number they will send you updates via text message.

Once you receive your shipping confirmation email your order is on its way to you.  At this stage we've roasted, bagged, picked, packed and dispatched your order then put it in the hands of your chosen courier.

It always makes us very happy when things run like clockwork but on occasion due to circumstances outside of our control your order may take a little longer to get to you than expected, please remember this is usually down to the courier.  Royal Mail will not class an item as lost or missing for 15 working days but we always ask that you wait for 7, unfortunately we can not take action until this time has passed.  During this time we recommend that you ask your local sorting office if they've already tried to deliver (even if they haven't left a card) and ask your neighbours if your order has been left with them.  You should also check that the delivery address you gave us is correct, this can be found on your shipping confirmation email.

If your delivery still hasn't arrived after 7 days and you have performed the above steps then please email us at orders@hasbean.co.uk with your order number (HB2009-*****). We realise this can be a very frustrating situation we do greatly appreciate your patience while your order makes its way to you.

Domestic UK Deliveries

Royal Mail Special Delivery
Need speed and reliability? Royal Mail Special is the answer!  Guaranteed delivery by 1300hrs the next working day (Monday to Saturday, no Sunday delivery)

Royal Mail First Class

Royal Mail aim to deliver First Class items the next working day including Saturdays. This is not a guarantee but an aim.
Royal Mail will not class an item as lost or missing for 15 working days but please get in touch with us at orders@hasbean.co.uk if your order has not been delivered within 7 working days of receiving your dispatch email.

Royal Mail Second Class

Royal Mail aim to deliver Second Class items the third working day after posting including Saturdays, with a small minority taking up to 7 working days. This is not a guarantee but an aim.  Royal Mail will not class an item as lost or missing for 15 working days but please get in touch with us at orders@hasbean.co.uk if your order has not been delivered within 7 working days of receiving your dispatch email.

DPD (Mon-Fri)
£5.00 for up to 10kg, £10.00 for up to 20kg

Trackable next business day delivery Monday to Friday, no weekend delivery.

Tracking information will be emailed to you when we enter your shipping information into our DPD system, you will also be sent this information by text message if you provide us with a mobile number. A 1 hour delivery window will be sent to you on the morning of your delivery.

DPD (Saturday)
£8.00 for up to 10kg, £16.00 for up to 20kg

Trackable Saturday delivery, please only order after Thursday 1300hrs and before Friday 1300hrs.

Tracking information will be emailed to you when we enter your shipping information into our DPD system, you will also be sent this information by text message if you provide us with a mobile number. A 1 hour delivery window will be sent to you on the morning of your delivery.

If you select DPD Saturday delivery then please do not request to have your order delivered to a DPD Pickup Shop via the In Flight options, they do not deliver to them at the weekend.

International Deliveries

Please be aware that international deliveries can sometimes take longer than we expect, unfortunately due to many factors beyond our control your order can be delayed at any 1 of many points on its journey across the world and we ask you to please be patient.

If your item was shipped with Royal Mail via either Tracked & Signed, Tracked or Signed then please get in touch with us at orders@hasbean.co.uk as we should have access to tracking information for your order.  If you selected Royal Mail International Economy then unfortunately we will not have any tracking information.

Royal Mail will not class an international shipment as lost or missing for 28 working days unfortunately we can not take any action until this time has passed.  During that time we recommend that you ask your local sorting office / post office if they've tried to deliver (even if they haven't left a card) and ask your neighbours if your order has been left with them.  You should also check that the delivery address you gave us is correct, this can be found on your shipping confirmation email.  If your delivery still hasn't arrived after 14 working days and you have performed the above steps then please email us at orders@hasbean.co.uk with your order number (HB2009-*****).

International Tracked & Signed
Tracked & Signed is a combination service offering full end-to-end tracking, signature on delivery and an online delivery confirmation.

International Tracked
Ideal for sending important or valuable goods, offering tracking at five points after despatch as well as an online confirmation of delivery.

International Signed
Your item will be tracked until it leaves the UK and only handed over at its final destination once the delivery company obtains a signature from the recipient.

All Royal Mail Tracking and Signature services offer delivery to Europe within 3-5 working days, and worldwide within 5-7 working days.

The availability of Royal Mail Tracking and Signature services depends on where your item is going. See the Royal Mail list of destinations and their services.

Where applicable, you’ll be able to track your item via their Track and Trace service.

Signature on delivery
A signature is taken on delivery for items sent using International Tracked & Signed and International Signed. However, we do not provide a copy of the signature to you as part of the service.

International Standard
No tracking. Delivery time 5 -7 working days worldwide, however can take longer due to worldwide circumstances beyond our control.

Within Europe DPD offers DPD Classic, a delivery by road service for a flat fee up to certain weights. Details for shipments up to 10kg can be found below for the charges to various countries...

FedEx International Priority is an express transportation service that provides time-definite, customs-cleared, door-to-door delivery, typically next business day with a small minority in 2 business days.

FedEx International Economy
FedEx International Economy is a day-definite, customs-cleared, door-to-door economy service for shipments up to 68kg per package (shipment weight almost unlimited). Transit time is typically 2 to 6 working days.
